Bed and Breakfast in a Grade II listed Manor house dating from 1450
and mentioned in the Domesday Book.

What better place for your holiday than this ancient building with it's fascinating wealth of history in this glorious Dartmoor National Park setting. We offer a four poster bed double room with private bathroom, (above) which if used as a family room, has a hidden twin room beyond..

The red panelled double room has a private bathroom.
Holiday guests are welcomed into a large open hall.
This home is
filled with oak
beams, wooden panelling, and flagstone floors.
The
stone fireplaces still have bread ovens in place.

Nestled
in the South East corner of Dartmoor, with
Bag Tor,
Hay Tor and dramatic rugged moorland stretching behind.
It's
a charming
house in seven acres of beautiful gardens,
where
dragonflies dance over
the trout ponds throughout the
summer and in spring the bluebell woods are simply beautiful.

An ideal base for walkers who love Dartmoor .

Setting off in the morning after one of Sue's full english breakfasts,
with home made
bread, muesli, local meats and our own eggs
and honey,
you will be well set up for the day. Let us suggest some excellent walks.
